A group of FTWW Volunteers, wearing green t-shirts, smile at the camera. We started life as a Facebook group, but now have presence across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedInwhere we share information and bring people together.

In our online community, we reduce isolation and provide a safe space for members to share their experiences and their wisdom to help others. Our community instils confidence in its members, empowering them to challenge the barriers that disable them – including health care that doesn’t work for them.

We help them to remove the shame and taboo that often shrouds the health conditions they live with, helping them to feel confident to speak openly about their symptoms in their workplaces, education spaces and among family and friends.

We also encourage our members to engage with political processes; responding to Welsh Government and NHS consultations, and liaising with their elected officials to raise awareness of issues impacting them.
