FTWW’s report ‘Making the Case for Better Endometriosis Care in Wales’ prompted the Chief Executive of the NHS in Wales to establish a Task and Finish group to review endometriosis services. The first week of December 2017 has been a very exciting one for FTWW and endometriosis patients across Wales. Thanks to our on-going work with Welsh Government to improve strategy, our involvement in the new NICE guidelines for the condition, published in September, and the creative efforts of one of our members, Jaimee McCormack, creator of the Cardiff EndoWall, daily news programmes BBC Wales Today and Newyddion 9 on S4C, decided to make endometriosis their featured item on Wednesday 6th December and we were pleased to be asked to contribute!
