WHEE 4 Wales Llandudno Junction 23/10/19

Women’s Health Equality Event for Wales

 Llandudno Junction, North Wales

Wednesday, 23rd October, 2019, 10am – 4pm

WHEE Wales is a Women’s Health Equality Event which aims to bring women, healthcare professionals, and policy-makers together in one place for constructive, positive conversations about how to ensure the health and well-being of our future generations of women and girls, bringing the issues and challenges out into the open and coming up with solutions.

WHEE Wales is needed because women’s health isn’t always considered when it comes to medical research or government policy. Women themselves often report having their needs neglected or not taken seriously when it comes to reporting symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, or service provision. This event aims to change that.

With a membership of over 1000 women across the country, and a network far beyond that, Fair Treatment for the Women of Wales (FTWW) has listened to their voices and created  WHEE Wales in response.

WHEE Wales will include inspiring speakers and personal stories to inform and educate; workshops and discussion groups to share best practice and ask the difficult questions; as well as action-focused conversations to explore solutions and begin the process of change across Wales, by and for women themselves and those providing services across the nation.
