EndoMarch Wales Llandudno & Cardiff 2019

In 2019, following on from the phenomenal success of our South Wales EndoMarches in Cardiff, and Swansea, we decided it was time to up the ante – have two marches in Wales, and bring this incredible event to the North. After much deliberation, we chose Llandudno as the location for the first ever North Wales EndoMarch!

On the 30th March 2019, a sea of people dressed in yellow, waving banners with messages raising awareness of endometriosis, took to the streets of Llandudno and Cardiff. We turned both ends of the country yellow to highlight this invisible illness.

The marches were a huge success with almost 300 people in total attending, media coverage prior and subsequent to the events across Wales, and a documentary of our Cardiff march being filmed by students at the University of South Wales!

This year, once again, the number of similar marches taking place across the globe grew, all with the common aim of ending the injustices suffered by the 1 in 10 living with with the debilitating condition that is endometriosis.

We were thrilled that the marches got a lot of media coverage, with both BBC and ITV Wales, and Wales Online also covering them on the day.

We’d like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to Niki Dally, Samantha Hickson, Karla Edwards, and everyone else involved who have helped us make these events possible, and to every single person that supported us on the day.

We hope you enjoy this selection of photos, and videos from both locations. You can find more on our YouTube channel, Instagram, and Facebook accounts.
